The DEPICT Study is led by an experienced team of doctors and nurses working in children's intensive care units across England and Wales, parents of children who have been transported to PICUs in the past, academic experts and an NHS commissioner. The DEPICT research team are responsible for the day to day management of the research, and make up the Study Management Group (SMG). The SMG meets on a monthly basis (more regularly if required) to assess study progress against the milestones agreed with the NIHR and go through the results of the study as they come in.
